Adalberto Rincon Meija grew up poor in the slums of Miami. Throughout his youth he idolized Urban Brawl players because they were tough, quick, and lived life to the fullest. Luckily, Adalberto grew up to be tough enough and quick enough to earn a spot on his beloved hometown Miami Spears. Life was good, the team got him a Caribbean League SIN, he beame a citizen, and he could move out of the gutter forever. He cruised through an outstanding rookie season, only to have his life come crashing down around him.
Toward the beginning of his second season complaints started to filter throughout the league, and especially the leagues fans that no one without cybernetic enhancements could do the things that Adalberto was doing. They accused him of being a cheat. Of the groups complaining, the fans of the Tacoma Wings were the loudest. It turns out, they were right, somehow, someway, Adalberto had developed magic. He was a cheat, even if he hadn't realized it. So, the UB league disgraced him and kicked him out. To this day, Adalberto is one of only few UB players ever to be kicked out of the league for magic use.
Now, Adalberto, better known as Dregs, lives a squatter's life in the Redmond barrens. He gets by taking the occasional run as extra muscle or through fighting in Seattle's illicit underground fighting ring.
